16-channel linear driver for mini-LED local dimming backlight
The Texas Instruments TLC69611RTWR is a 16-channel linear constant-current LED driver designed for mini-LED local dimming backlight applications. It delivers up to 60 mA per channel with a 20 V output compliance, using PWM dimming for fine brightness control. The device operates from a 3 V to 5.5 V supply and is rated over -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for TV, monitor, and automotive display backlight units that need local dimming zones.
The 16 outputs let you drive 16 individual LED strings or zones from one IC, which directly maps to the number of local dimming segments in the backlight panel. Each channel sinks 60 mA.
