The Texas Instruments TLC5615CP is a 10-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a voltage-buffered output, built around a String DAC architecture. It communicates over an SPI interface and delivers a single analog output from a 5 V supply rail.
Supply and interface
The SPI data interface uses three wires (SCLK, DIN, CS) and is compatible with 5 V logic levels from most microcontrollers. The external reference input lets the user set the full-scale output voltage independently of the supply — useful for scaling the output range to match an ADC's input span or a sensor's excitation voltage.
It belongs in office equipment, benchtop instruments, appliance control boards, and indoor industrial panels.
