Precision DC measurement — the 0.6 µV offset is the headline
The TLC2652IN: Its 0.6 µV maximum input offset voltage is the defining spec — two orders of magnitude lower than a general-purpose op-amp — which means the error contribution from the amplifier itself is negligible when measuring microvolt-level signals from strain gauges, thermocouples, or precision shunt resistors. The 1.9 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 2.8 V/µs slew rate are modest but adequate for low-frequency instrumentation loops; the trade-off for the zero-drift topology is bandwidth, not noise.
Military temperature grade — avionics and downhole ready
That makes it a candidate for avionics sensor conditioning, satellite telemetry, and downhole drilling instrumentation where the ambient temperature can swing from cold soak to engine-bay heat. The 14-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) through-hole package suits point-to-point wiring in hybrid assemblies and retrofit boards where an SMT reflow profile isn't available. The supplier device package is 14-PDIP, which mates with standard 0.3" wide DIP sockets.
Supply rails and output drive
Supply span runs from 3.8 V minimum to 16 V maximum. Quiescent current is 1.5 mA per amplifier. Output can source or sink 50 mA. Input bias current is 4 pA.
