Package and mounting
A 19 V/µs slew rate means this op-amp can swing a 10 V peak-to-peak output at roughly 300 kHz before the large-signal bandwidth starts to roll off. That's enough headroom for audio line-level signals, sensor conditioning at moderate frequencies, and general-purpose analog processing where you don't want the amplifier itself to be the bandwidth bottleneck. The 10 MHz gain-bandwidth product supports closed-loop gains up to 30 or 40 dB at 100 kHz without losing loop gain margin.
Commercial temperature grade — indoor and lab use only
It is not specified for automotive under-hood, outdoor telecom cabinets, or industrial motor-drive bays where the ambient regularly exceeds 70°C. If extended temperature is required, the TLC082's industrial-grade sibling (TLC082AID, -40°C to 125°C) is the usual cross-shop candidate.
Through-hole 8-DIP — footprint and handling
The 8-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) package with through-hole mounting is the classic dual-in-line footprint. It plugs into standard DIP sockets or solders directly into plated-through holes on a 0.1" pitch grid. The 8-PDIP supplier package code is the same physical body.
