The TL7705AIDR is a simple reset/power-on reset supervisor IC from Texas Instruments, monitoring a single supply rail with a 4.55V threshold voltage. The 1 µs maximum propagation delay means the reset outputs respond within a microsecond of the supply crossing the threshold — fast enough to catch brownout events on a 50/60 Hz rectified rail but not intended for glitch filtering at the switching frequency of a modern buck converter. The open-drain output allows wire-OR connection with other supervisors or manual reset buttons on the same line.
Package and board fit
The surface-mount package suits automated pick-and-place and reflow assembly with standard lead-free profiles. Tape-and-reel and cut-tape options are available from the supply chain, making it easy to order production reel quantities or small prototype batches.
