Fixed 10 V rail, 750 mA capacity
The TL750M10CKTE is a fixed-output low-dropout regulator from Texas Instruments, delivering a regulated 10 V rail at up to 750 mA continuous current. The 0.6 V maximum dropout at full load means the input must stay above 10.6 V to maintain regulation — a 12 V bus with 5 % tolerance (11.4 V min) leaves only 0.8 V of headroom, so a 12 V rail at the low end of its tolerance band still holds regulation, but a 12 V battery at end-of-discharge (10.5 V) will drop out.
PSRR and protection suite
PSRR is 55 dB at 120 Hz — this is the 60/100 Hz mains ripple rejection figure. For a 10 V rail powering an analog front-end that samples at line-synchronous rates, the 55 dB attenuation cuts a 100 mVpp ripple to under 0.2 mVpp at the output. The protection set includes over-current, over-temperature, over-voltage, and reverse polarity — the reverse-polarity clamp means the regulator survives a battery hooked up backwards without an external Schottky, which saves a diode drop and the associated heat.
The tab is large enough to hand-solder with a 50 W iron or hot-air station; pin 1 is the tab end of the body, so orientation is unambiguous under magnification.
