Adjustable shunt reference for precision bias rails
It sets a minimum output of 2.495 V and regulates up to 36 V using two external resistors, making it the go-to part for generating a precision bias rail from a higher supply without a dedicated regulator IC. Rated for 100 mA continuous cathode current with a minimum operating current of 700 µA, this part covers the usual reference and error-amplifier roles in linear and switched-mode power supplies.

The ±0.5% tolerance is the tighter bin of the TL432 family.
The SOT-23-5 package is standard and widely second-sourced, but no pin-compatible cross-reference from another manufacturer is listed in the official record. If the board can tolerate a footprint change, a current-production adjustable shunt in a similar package is the practical path; if the layout is locked, the surplus channel is the only option.
