Adjustable shunt reference in a SOT-23-3
It sets a reference voltage at the REF pin using an external resistor divider, regulating the cathode current to maintain the output at the programmed level. The ±0.5% tolerance on the internal reference (2.495 V nominal) is tighter than the standard 1% or 2% grades, making this part a fit for precision feedback loops in isolated power supplies and linear regulators where output accuracy matters.
100 mA cathode current and 36 V ceiling
Rated for 100 mA continuous output current and a maximum cathode-to-anode voltage of 36 V, the TL432BIDBZRG4 can sink enough current to drive an optocoupler LED in a secondary-side feedback path or bias a small load. The 700 µA minimum cathode current keeps the device in regulation at light load.
