Adjustable shunt reference in SOT-23-5
It provides a 2.495 V reference minimum with an adjustable output up to 36 V, set by two external resistors.
±1% tolerance and 100 mA cathode drive
Rated at ±1% tolerance, this part holds tighter output accuracy than the standard ±2% grade — relevant for precision feedback loops in switching power supplies or optocoupler biasing where the reference voltage directly sets the regulation point. The cathode can sink up to 100 mA continuous with a minimum operating current of 700 µA. That 100 mA ceiling covers driving an optocoupler LED plus a pull-up resistor in a typical secondary-side feedback circuit, but the designer should check the thermal rise in the SOT-23-5 at the high end of that range.
Listed with an active product status. The base product number is TL432, so the A-grade and DBVR package variant are current production choices.
