Adjustable shunt reference in SOT-23-3 — 2.495 V to 36 V output
It sets a precision reference voltage of 2.495 V between the reference and anode pins, and with an external resistor divider the output can be programmed anywhere from that minimum up to 36 V.
100 mA output capability — 600 µA minimum cathode current
Rated for 100 mA continuous output current, this shunt can sink enough current to pull down a feedback node or drive the optocoupler LED in an isolated supply. The 600 µA minimum cathode current is the bias floor — below that the reference loses regulation, so the external resistor from cathode to supply must be sized to always deliver at least 600 µA through the device. For a typical 5 V rail with a 1 kΩ pull-up to the cathode, the bias current sits around 2.5 mA at the 2.495 V reference point — well above the 600 µA floor, with headroom for the load transient.
