Adjustable shunt reference in a SOT-23-3 package
It provides a 2.495V reference at the cathode with a ±1% tolerance, settable to any value up to 36 V with two external resistors.
Cathode current and output drive
The shunt regulator requires a minimum cathode current of 1 mA to maintain regulation, and the output can sink up to 15 mA. This current budget is enough to bias an optocoupler LED in a flyback feedback loop or to drive a small load directly. The 1 mA minimum means the biasing resistor from the supply rail must be sized to guarantee at least that current at the lowest input voltage and highest load.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
