Shunt reference with ±2.2% tolerance
The ±2.2% tolerance on the reference voltage is tighter than the standard 2.5% grade — a meaningful improvement if your design needs a tighter output window without trimming or a higher-cost precision reference.
Output current and cathode current floor
The device can sink up to 100 mA continuous, which sets the load-driving ceiling for shunt regulation or the feedback pull-down in an isolated supply. The minimum cathode current is 1 mA — below that the reference loses regulation, so the bias resistor must be sized to keep at least 1 mA flowing through the device at all times.
Housed in a SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59), the part is a surface-mount fit for compact PCB layouts.
