±0.5% tolerance and 100 mA output — precision shunt reference
Its ±0.5% tolerance on the 2.495 V reference voltage provides tighter output accuracy than the standard 1% or 2% grades, making it suitable for precision power-supply feedback loops, voltage monitoring, and comparator threshold circuits. The device can sink up to 100 mA through the cathode while maintaining regulation, with a minimum cathode current of 600 µA. The maximum output voltage is 36 V, set by two external resistors.
