Adjustable shunt reference with ±1% initial tolerance
Its ±1% initial tolerance and 100 mA output current capability make it a workhorse for precision voltage regulation in power supplies, data converters, and supervisory circuits.
Output range and temperature grade
The reference voltage is set at 2.495 V minimum and can be adjusted up to 36 V maximum using two external resistors.
Cathode current and shunt operation
The device operates as a shunt regulator, sinking current from the cathode to the anode. Minimum cathode current is 700 µA, which sets the lower bound for the bias resistor in a typical series-resistor configuration. The 100 mA output rating defines the maximum load the shunt can sink while maintaining regulation.
For BOM planning, this part presents no near-term obsolescence risk.
