Rated for supply spans from 10 V to 30 V, the TL082IDRE4 runs on ±5 V to ±15 V rails — the standard dual-supply sweet spot for industrial analog circuits. Each of the two amplifiers draws 1.4 mA quiescent current, so the total supply draw is 2.8 mA for the package. That keeps the thermal rise low in the 8-SOIC footprint and leaves headroom for additional circuitry on the same rail.
