Dual JFET op-amp in a SOT-23-8 footprint
The TL082HIDDFR packs two JFET-input operational amplifiers into a SOT-23-8 package, saving board area compared to the traditional SOIC-8 footprint. Each amplifier delivers a 5.25 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 20V/µs slew rate, enough for audio-band signal conditioning, active filters, and sensor buffering without sacrificing phase margin.
20V/µs slew rate — signal fidelity at higher frequencies
For audio preamps or ADC drivers running 20 kHz signals, this leaves plenty of headroom — the op-amp won't round off fast edges.
1 pA input bias — high-impedance sensor interface
With a typical input bias current of 1 pA, the TL082HIDDFR suits photodiode amplifiers, pH probes, and other high-source-impedance circuits where bias current would otherwise create a voltage offset across the source resistance. The JFET input stage also keeps input noise low.
Supply range 4.5 V to 40 V — single or split rails
The 4.5 V to 40 V supply span lets the part run on a single 5 V logic rail, a 12 V industrial bus, or split ±15 V supplies without a secondary regulator. This flexibility simplifies BOM consolidation across mixed-voltage designs.
Industrial temperature grade and active lifecycle
The product status is Active, so there is no near-term EOL risk for production programs.
