What this JFET op-amp brings to an automotive BOM
Each of the two channels draws 1.4 mA supply current. The JFET input stage holds input bias current to 30 pA and input offset voltage to 3 mV. Output current is rated at 10 mA per channel. The AEC-Q100 qualification and Automotive grade make this part suitable for under-hood and chassis-domain signal conditioning, sensor buffering, and actuator drive stages where JFET inputs are preferred for their low bias current and high input impedance.
Package and mounting — through-hole ceramic DIP
The 8-CDIP (0.300", 7.62 mm) ceramic dual-in-line package is a through-hole footprint. It mates with standard 8-pin DIP sockets or can be soldered directly into plated through-holes.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active, but RoHS non-compliant
Note that it is marked RoHS non-compliant, which means it contains lead in the solder finish or ceramic body — a consideration for designs that must meet EU RoHS exemptions or are destined for regions with strict RoHS enforcement.
