JFET input stage — why it matters for your signal chain
3 MHz GBW and 13V/µs slew rate — the dynamic envelope
The 13V/µs slew rate means the output can swing 10 V peak-to-peak at roughly 200 kHz before the slew limiting distorts the waveform — adequate for audio line-level signals, active filters, and motor-current sense amplifiers in the 20 kHz to 50 kHz range. Supply current is 1.4 mA per amplifier, totalling 2.8 mA for both channels. That is modest for a dual op-amp — the part runs cool in the 8-SOIC package and does not stress a 10 V to 30 V rail.
If the board sees -40°C or +85°C ambient, look at the TL082I or TL082Q industrial-grade siblings.
