Supply rails and output drive
Runs from a split supply spanning 10 V to 30 V total, or a single-ended rail within that window.
Housed in an 8-pin SOIC (0.154-inch body width, 3.90 mm wide). The SOIC-8 is one of the most rework-friendly surface-mount packages — the 1.27 mm pin pitch gives you room to land an iron tip on each leg, and the body thermal mass is low enough that a hot-air station at 300°C will lift the part clean without cooking the board.
Temperature grade — indoor only
That is commercial-grade silicon: fine for bench instruments, office equipment, or indoor control boards. Not for a motor-drive cabinet at 85°C or an engine bay. If the BOM calls for a wider temperature range, the TL082ACDE4 will drift its input offset beyond the 3 mV spec once the ambient climbs past 70°C.
The TL082ACDE4 carries a Last-Time-Buy lifecycle status. That means TI has stopped regular production; the remaining inventory is what is left in the channel. For a production BOM, this part needs to be sourced through independent distribution or surplus stock — and the window to secure volume is finite.
