JFET op-amp for general-purpose signal conditioning
The JFET input stage keeps bias current at 30 pA, suiting it for high-impedance sources like photodiode transimpedance amps, sample-and-hold buffers, and active filters in commercial-temperature (0°C to 70°C) equipment — office peripherals, appliance control boards, and benchtop instrumentation.
The 7 V to 36 V supply span lets this part run from a single 12 V or 24 V industrial rail or split ±5 V to ±15 V supplies without an extra regulator. The 2 mV input offset is typical for a general-purpose JFET stage — adequate for audio line-level processing, 8-bit ADC drivers, or control-loop error amps, but not for precision DC measurement below a few millivolts. If your design needs sub-500 µV offset, look at a zero-drift or precision bipolar op-amp instead.
