If your board lives in an engine bay, an outdoor telecom cabinet, a satellite, or any environment where the ambient hits -40°C and the junction climbs past 105°C, the MDREP keeps the input bias current, offset voltage, and slew rate within datasheet limits across the entire span.
Quad-channel current budget and supply rails
Four amplifiers in one 14-SOIC package draw 1.4 mA total supply current — 350 µA per channel. That is low enough to run from a 7 V to 36 V single supply or a ±3.5 V to ±18 V split rail without wasting thermal headroom. The 3 mV input offset voltage (typical) is adequate for general-purpose gain stages; if your application demands sub-mV precision, you would step to an auto-zero or precision op-amp.
