Product details

JFET quad op-amp for precision analog signal chains

The Texas Instruments TL074CPW is a JFET-input quad operational amplifier in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package. Four independent op-amps in one 14-TSSOP body save board area compared to four single-channel devices.

Slew rate and bandwidth — what they mean for signal fidelity

The 13 V/µs slew rate sets the large-signal bandwidth: a 10 V peak-to-peak output can swing cleanly up to roughly 200 kHz before slew-rate limiting distorts the waveform. For smaller signals the 3 MHz small-signal bandwidth is the limit. This combination suits audio processing, active filters, and general-purpose signal conditioning where the signal stays below a few hundred kilohertz.

It belongs in indoor, temperature-controlled equipment — benchtop instruments, audio gear, office electronics — not in automotive under-hood or outdoor industrial enclosures without active cooling.

14-TSSOP with 0.65 mm pin pitch and 4.40 mm body width.

Frequently asked questions

Can TL074CPW replace TL074CN?

The TL074CPW is the surface-mount 14-TSSOP variant of the TL074 family. The TL074CN is the DIP-14 through-hole version. Electrically they share the same JFET quad op-amp core — same 3 MHz GBW, 13 V/µs slew rate, 65 pA bias — but the package and footprint differ. A direct replacement requires a board layout change from DIP-14 to TSSOP-14.
