Quad JFET op-amp for multi-channel signal conditioning
The TL074BCNSRG4: It is designed for applications requiring low input bias current — 65 pA typical — making it suitable for high-impedance sensor interfaces, active filters, and audio preamplifiers where the source impedance is high and bias-current-induced offset must be minimised.
13V/µs slew rate — what it buys you
A slew rate of 13V/µs means the output can swing 13 V in one microsecond. For a 10 V peak-to-peak output, the full-power bandwidth is roughly 207 kHz (slew rate divided by π × Vp-p). Beyond that frequency, the output will distort into a triangle wave. This is adequate for audio-band processing and moderate-speed instrumentation, but not for video or high-speed data acquisition.
For new designs, consider the active TL074 family members in the same 14-SO package, but verify pin compatibility and parametric alignment against your BOM.
This limits deployment to indoor, temperature-controlled environments — not suitable for automotive or extended industrial use without qualification testing.
