Its 13V/µs slew rate is roughly double the 8V/µs of the standard TL071, which means it can track faster signal edges without slewing distortion — useful in audio preamp stages, active filters, and data-acquisition front-ends where the input signal changes faster than a general-purpose op-amp can follow.
JFET input: 65 pA bias current and the sensor interface
That 65 pA bias current — compared to the microamp-level bias of a bipolar op-amp — means the voltage error across a 10 MΩ source resistor is 650 µV rather than tens of millivolts. The 2 mV input offset voltage is the DC accuracy floor for the B-grade variant; the C suffix on this order code selects the tighter offset bin.
Supply span and temperature grade
The 1.4 mA supply current per channel keeps the thermal footprint low in the 8-SOIC package.
