50 Mbps RS-485 transceiver for 3.3V and 5V buses
The Texas Instruments THVD1450DGKR is a half-duplex RS-485 transceiver rated for 50 Mbps data rate, covering the supply range from 3V to 5.5V.
Supply flexibility and logic compatibility
Because the supply range spans 3V to 5.5V, this part works on a 3.3V rail without a separate level translator, yet can also drop into a legacy 5V RS-485 bus. The receiver inputs are RS-485 compliant across the full common-mode range, and the 30 mV hysteresis helps reject noise on differential pairs that share a cable tray with drives or solenoids.
That means no last-time-buy pressure for current production runs, and it remains a valid selection for new designs.
