High-speed dual op-amp for signal conditioning and line driving
The 9 V to 32 V supply span covers standard ±5 V, ±12 V, and ±15 V split rails as well as single 12 V or 24 V industrial supplies, so it integrates into existing power architectures without a dedicated rail.
Package and thermal: the exposed pad matters
The THS4052IDGNR comes in an 8-HVSSOP package with an exposed thermal pad (the 8-TSSOP/MSOP 3.00 mm width footprint). At 100 mA output per channel, internal dissipation can push junction temperature well above ambient if the pad is floating. The mounting type is surface mount, so standard reflow profiles for MSOP-8 apply, but the pad geometry requires a solder-paste stencil aperture that covers at least 50% of the pad area to avoid voids.
The 70 MHz -3 dB bandwidth is the small-signal limit; for a unity-gain buffer, expect a clean passband to roughly 70 MHz, but closed-loop gain reduces that proportionally. If you need to digitise a 10 MHz signal with 12-bit accuracy, this op-amp preserves the harmonic content without the slew-induced nonlinearity that slower parts introduce.
For volume commitments or scheduled releases, we can support blanket orders with fixed pricing windows.
