What the 310 V/µs slew rate buys you
The -3 dB bandwidth of 290 MHz covers the small-signal range; the slew rate determines how fast the output can track a large step. For a 5 V peak-to-peak output, 310 V/µs translates to roughly a 16 ns rise time, which keeps the signal clean for video-rate or fast-settling applications.
Supply range and power budget
The supply span runs from 9 V minimum to 32 V maximum, so this part works on ±5 V, ±12 V, ±15 V split rails, or a single 12 V or 24 V industrial bus without a secondary regulator. Quiescent current is 7.8 mA — not a low-power part, but reasonable for the speed. If your BOM is power-constrained, the 7.8 mA is the standing draw per channel; the load current adds on top.
Package and thermal: the exposed pad matters
The THS4011CDGNR comes in an 8-HVSSOP (the supplier device package code) with an exposed pad — that 3.00 mm width 8-MSOP/TSSOP footprint. The package is surface-mount only.
