7000 V/µs current-feedback dual op-amp
The THS3062D from Texas Instruments is a dual-channel current-feedback operational amplifier built for high-speed signal conditioning. Its 7000 V/µs slew rate and 2.2 GHz gain-bandwidth product suit it for video distribution, ADC drivers, and wideband pulse amplifiers where settling time and large-signal bandwidth matter more than DC precision. The 300 MHz -3 dB bandwidth and 145 mA output current per channel mean it can drive 50-ohm back-terminated lines or multiple video loads without an external buffer stage. The 8.3 mA supply current per channel keeps the thermal budget manageable in a dual-channel SOIC package.

Operating from a 10 V to 30 V total supply span, the THS3062D runs on symmetrical ±5 V to ±15 V rails or a single-ended supply. The -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range covers factory-floor automation, test equipment, and outdoor telecom enclosures without requiring an extended-temperature variant. Input bias current is 6 µA typical and input offset voltage is 700 µV typical — these are the DC accuracy boundaries. For precision DC-coupled paths below 1 mV offset, a different topology (voltage-feedback or auto-zero) would be a better fit; this part is optimized for AC-coupled or pulsed applications where slew rate and bandwidth dominate the error budget.
