3.3V CAN transceiver for industrial and automotive buses
It handles the standard CAN 2.0 data rate of 1 Mbps and includes a receiver with 120 mV of hysteresis to reject noise on the differential bus lines — a practical margin when the cable runs through a motor drive cabinet or a factory floor.
Supply rail and logic-level compatibility
The nominal 3.3V supply is inside the range, so the part runs directly from a 3.3V LDO or switching regulator. If your existing CAN bus is 5V, this part will not work — the bus pins are also referenced to VCC, not to an external 5V rail.
