CAN transceiver for 5 V buses, rated across the full automotive temperature span
The 5 Mbps data rate supports CAN FD frames without bit-rate limiting; if your design targets a 1 Mbps classic CAN network, this part has headroom for future protocol upgrades.
Supply rail and logic-level compatibility
It is a 5 V device; the logic interface pins expect 5 V levels. If your MCU runs at 3.3 V, you will need level translation on the TXD and RXD lines — the part does not include a VIO pin for mixed-voltage operation. The 1/1 driver/receiver count matches the standard CAN node: one CANH/CANL differential pair and one digital TXD/RXD pair.
The footprint is standard SOIC-8, shared across the TCAN1051 family and many other CAN transceivers, simplifying board layout if you need to qualify an alternate source.
