The TCAN1044AEVDRQ1 is a Texas Instruments CAN FD transceiver that pushes the data phase to 8 Mbps while keeping arbitration at the standard CAN bit rate. That 8 Mbps figure is the payload throughput during the data phase — the part handles the full ISO 11898-2:2016 CAN FD specification, so you get backward compatibility with classical CAN nodes on the same bus. The half-duplex 1/1 driver/receiver pair is the expected topology for a two-wire differential bus. The receiver hysteresis is 115 mV, providing a differential noise margin on the bus.
