This part is supplied in a 14-VSON package (4.5x3 mm) with wettable flanks, a feature that allows solder fillet formation visible to AOI systems. For automotive production lines requiring 100% solder joint inspection, the wettable flank eliminates the need for X-ray inspection of the exposed-pad package.
This supports both new design-ins and ongoing production replenishment without the supply-chain uncertainty of a phase-out part.
