AEC-Q100 CAN transceiver for the automotive bus
It handles the standard CAN 2.0 data rate of 2 Mbps, which covers both classical CAN and CAN FD frames at the physical layer. The 120 mV of receiver hysteresis gives the bus interface clean noise margin on long unterminated stubs or in high-EMI harness runs typical of engine bays and chassis domains.
Supply rail and package — what the footprint needs
The wettable flank on the package helps AOI inspect the solder joint on the hidden pads.
That means no last-time-buy window to chase, no end-of-life risk for the next 18 to 24 months of production. It is a current-design-in part, not a phase-out candidate.
