5 Mbps CAN FD transceiver for automotive networks
The Texas Instruments TCAN1042HGDQ1 is a CAN FD transceiver rated for 5 Mbps data rate, supporting the higher throughput needed for modern in-vehicle networks beyond the classic 1 Mbps CAN 2.0 limit. The logic interface is 5 V tolerant; if you are connecting to a 3.3 V microcontroller, you will need level translation or a transceiver variant with VIO pin — the base TCAN1042HGDQ1 does not include a separate logic supply.

The footprint is standard SOIC-8, so it is a drop-in for many existing CAN transceiver layouts.
