Active production, AEC-Q100 qualified CAN transceiver
5V supply rail only — plan the power tree accordingly
It is not compatible with 3.3 V logic supplies on the bus side; if the host controller runs at 3.3 V, a level translator or a 3.3 V-tolerant CAN transceiver variant is needed. The VCC pin must be cleanly decoupled to the exposed pad ground plane to maintain signal integrity at 5 Mbps.
Package and footprint notes for the layout review
The device is supplied in an 8-VDFN with exposed pad (8-VSON 3x3 mm). The wettable flank option on this package aids automated optical inspection (AOI) after reflow, a common requirement in automotive assembly lines.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
