Product details

LVDS driver for flat-panel links

The SN75LVDS83BDGG is a 5-driver, 0-receiver LVDS transmitter from TI's FlatLink™ series, designed to serialize parallel RGB data into a low-voltage differential signal for flat-panel displays and video links. Supply range is 3V to 3.6V, matching common 3.3V logic rails — no external regulator needed if the core rail is within that window.

Package and board integration

Housed in a 56-TFSOP (0.240", 6.10mm wide) package, also designated as 56-TSSOP. The 0.5mm pitch requires a controlled-impedance breakout for the LVDS pairs — keep the differential traces length-matched and above a ground plane. Surface-mount only; the tube packaging is fine for hand-assembly or reflow — no moisture-sensitive bake required unless the bag seal is broken.
