Quad buffer for 3.3V bus isolation
The 3-state outputs let you disconnect the bus when the output enable is low — useful in shared data lines or multiplexed address buses. Output drive is rated at 32 mA source and 64 mA sink per channel, enough to drive multiple CMOS or TTL loads without external buffers.
The 2.7V to 3.6V supply range means this part works cleanly on a 3.3V rail with ±10% tolerance, and it will still function during brown-out conditions down to 2.7V. That's useful in battery-backed or lightly regulated supplies where the rail droops under load. The 32 mA high-level and 64 mA low-level output currents are asymmetric — the sink capability is double the source, so the part is better at pulling a line low than high. That matches the typical open-drain or wired-OR bus structure where the dominant state is low.
Lifecycle and compliance
No lead (Pb) exemption applies — the part is fully compliant for RoHS-sensitive builds.
