What this 8-bit buffer does on the bus
It operates from a 1.65V to 3.6V supply, making it compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails. Each output can sink or source 24mA, enough to drive typical bus lines or LED indicators without external buffers. The 3-state control lets you isolate the outputs when the bus is shared, preventing contention. The 20-pin TVSOP package (4.40mm body width) saves board area compared to wider SOIC footprints.
