Triple open-drain buffer for automotive and industrial busses
Each of the three elements sinks up to 32 mA while the supply rail spans 1.65 V to 5.5 V, covering 1.8 V logic through legacy 5 V busses without a level translator. The open-drain output lets you wire-AND multiple signals or drive loads that need a pull-up to a different voltage than the logic supply.
Wide supply and temperature range
The 8-VSSOP package (2.30 mm width) fits tight PCB layouts where board space is at a premium.
Open-drain output: 32 mA sink, no source
The open-drain output sinks 32 mA per channel but does not source current — the load must connect to a pull-up resistor. This suits driving LEDs, relay coils, or level-shifting a signal to a higher voltage rail. The high-impedance state when the output is off lets multiple buffers share a common pull-up for wired-OR or wired-AND configurations.
