What this triple inverter with open-drain outputs does
The Texas Instruments SN74LVC3G06DCUR is a triple inverter with open-drain outputs from the 74LVC logic family. Each of the three independent inverter circuits accepts one input and drives an open-drain output that can sink up to 32 mA per channel. The open-drain structure allows wired-OR connections and level translation between different voltage domains, making it a common choice for bus isolation, interrupt aggregation, and mixed-voltage interface designs in industrial control, telecom, and consumer electronics.
At 5 V with a 50 pF load, propagation delay is 2.9 ns typical, which keeps timing closure manageable on 50–100 MHz buses. Quiescent current is 10 µA maximum, so the part adds negligible idle draw in battery-powered systems.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in an 8-VFSOP (2.30 mm width) package, also designated as 8-VSSOP, this is a surface-mount device suited for dense PCBs.
