Output drive and quiescent current
The SN74LVC32ADBR: Each output sources or sinks 24 mA, enough to drive a standard LED, a small relay coil through a transistor, or fan out to several CMOS inputs. Quiescent current is a maximum of 1 µA, so the gate adds negligible idle power in battery-operated or always-on circuits.
Package and mounting
The 14-SSOP package (5.30 mm body width, 0.209" pitch) is a surface-mount footprint common in compact PCB layouts. The supplier device package is also 14-SSOP, so no footprint mismatch between the order code and the physical part. Tape & Reel and Cut Tape options are available for both volume production and prototype quantities.
Lifecycle and compliance
The SN74LVC32ADBR is listed as Active with no end-of-life notice. ROHS3 compliant, so it meets current EU and global restriction requirements. No known PCN or LTB risk at this time — suitable for new designs and sustained production.
