Dual inverter in a 1.39×0.89 mm footprint
The SN74LVC2GU04YZPR is a dual unbuffered inverter from TI's 74LVC series, packing two independent inverter channels in a 6-bump DSBGA package measuring just 1.39×0.89 mm. The 3 ns max propagation delay at 5V and 50 pF load sets the usable toggle rate: for a 50 MHz clock signal, the output transition takes about 15% of the period, leaving enough margin for the downstream receiver setup time. The 32 mA symmetric output drive (both source and sink) directly drives typical CMOS inputs or short PCB traces without a buffer stage.
Package and board-fit for the 6-DSBGA
The 6-DSBGA (1.39×0.89 mm) uses 0.5 mm ball pitch — the same as many small BGAs, so a standard 0.5 mm pitch land pattern works. Surface-mount assembly with the DSBGA package requires a solder stencil aperture matched to the 0.25 mm nominal ball diameter. The package is lead-free and ROHS3 compliant per TI's current material declaration.
