Dual buffer with a wide supply net
The SN74LVC2G241DCTR is a dual non-inverting buffer from TI's 74LVC family, each element driving a single bit with a 3-state output that lets you float the bus when the output enable is inactive. Its supply range spans 1.65 V to 5.5 V, so it bridges 1.8 V and 3.3 V logic domains on the same board without a separate level translator — the input thresholds track the supply rail. Each output sources or sinks 32 mA, enough to drive a handful of CMOS loads or a low-power LED indicator directly, though the total package dissipation limits how many outputs can sink full current simultaneously.
Temperature range and package for bench and panel
Rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient, the part keeps its drive strength and timing across industrial enclosures and outdoor gear — no derating needed for a 105°C soak. Housed in an SM8 package (8-lead LSSOP or MSOP, 2.80 mm body width), the 0.65 mm pin pitch is hand-solderable with a fine tip and a steady hand — great for a breadboard adapter or a quick prototype run. Available in tape and reel for production pick-and-place or cut tape for small-batch builds; the reel quantity is the standard 3000-piece reel for this package.
