Dual 2-input NAND in the 74LVC family
The SN74LVC2G00YZPR is a dual 2-input NAND gate from Texas Instruments' 74LVC series — two independent gates in one package, each performing the NAND logic function on its two inputs. This is the basic building block for combinatorial logic, pulse shaping, or glue logic between mismatched voltage domains. The 32 mA symmetric output drive (both high and low) is enough to fan out to multiple CMOS loads or drive a short PCB trace directly. Propagation delay is 3.3 ns typical at 5 V with a 50 pF load — fast enough for most control and data paths below 100 MHz. The 10 µA max quiescent current keeps the power budget tight in battery-operated or always-on circuits.
Package and board-fit: 8-DSBGA
The exposed die attach pad (if present) should be connected to a quiet ground plane for thermal and electrical stability. Surface-mount assembly with tape-and-reel or cut-tape packaging — the reel quantity is set by the supplier at order time. The package is ROHS3 compliant, with no exemptions for lead or other restricted substances.
The gate functions reliably in outdoor telecom cabinets, engine-bay electronics, or factory-floor controllers where the ambient temperature swings beyond the commercial 85°C limit.
Sourcing and lifecycle posture
For defense or aerospace applications requiring MIL-STD screening, this standard commercial-grade part does not carry that qualification.
