Output drive and signal integrity
With a symmetrical 32 mA output drive capability, this buffer can directly drive the input capacitance of several downstream logic gates or a low-power LED indicator without an external transistor. The push-pull output eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor, simplifying board layout and reducing component count in signal-buffering stages. Because the 74LVC family is specified with 5 V tolerant inputs even when powered at 1.65 V, the SN74LVC1G34DRLR can interface between a low-voltage core and a legacy 5 V peripheral without a level shifter.
SOT-553 footprint and supply posture
Housed in the 5-pin SOT-553 package (supplier device package SOT-5), the part occupies a board area of roughly 1.6 mm × 1.6 mm, suiting space-constrained portable or sensor-module designs.
