What the 5 ns propagation delay and 32 mA drive mean for your board
The 5 ns max propagation delay at 5 V with a 50 pF load is fast enough for most clocked logic up to about 50 MHz, but not so aggressive that you need impedance-controlled traces or termination resistors on a short run. That saves a BOM line and a resistor.
