Single AND/OR gate for mixed-voltage glue logic
It accepts three inputs total (two for the AND, one for the OR) and delivers a single-ended output — a compact combinatorial cell for board-level logic consolidation.
The 1.65V to 5.5V operating range covers the three common logic rails (1.8V, 3.3V, 5.0V) with margin. If your design runs a 3.3V core but has a 5V-tolerant sensor bus, this part sits on the 3.3V rail and its inputs accept the 5V signal without damage — the LVC family is 5V-tolerant on inputs even at lower VCC. The 32 mA current capability per pin, both sourcing and sinking, is unusually high for a single-gate logic device at 1.65V; it lets you drive a logic input on a heavy bus or a low-current LED without adding a transistor. The SOT-23-6 footprint fits a 1.5 mm × 3 mm board area, so it can be placed near the connector or sensor it's conditioning.
If you are filling a shortage on an existing line, the active status also means the factory channel is open, not just spot-market carry-over.
This covers outdoor telecom enclosures, factory-floor PLC cabinets, and automotive cabin electronics (infotainment, cluster, body control) but not under-hood or engine-bay applications where 125°C ambient is common. For a sensor module that sees seasonal outdoor temperature swings or a battery-powered IoT node with internal heating, this temperature grade is a comfortable fit. The 74LVC series is also specified over the full voltage range at temperature, so the 32 mA output drive holds at 85°C with derating per the datasheet's thermal curves.
