The supply range from 1.65V to 5.5V means this single gate can sit on a 1.8V FPGA I/O bank, a 3.3V microcontroller bus, or a 5V legacy peripheral interface without a level translator. The input logic thresholds scale with VCC — low at 0.7V to 0.8V, high at 1.7V to 2V — so it reliably interprets signals from both low-voltage and 5V domains. Output drive is 32mA for both high and low states, enough to drive a downstream gate input or a small LED indicator directly.
