Single-gate NAND — the glue-logic workhorse for mixed-voltage boards
The gate delivers 32mA symmetric output drive at both high and low states, and its propagation delay is 4.3ns at 5V with a 50pF load. It comes in a SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A), a common footprint for single-gate logic.
The 4.3ns max propagation delay at 5V and 50pF load is the headline timing spec. For a 100 MHz clock, that's less than half a period, so this gate can sit in a clock fan-out tree or a control signal path without eating too much timing budget. At lower supply voltages the delay increases — budget accordingly if running at 1.8V or 2.5V. The 32mA output drive gives clean edges into moderate loads, reducing signal-integrity concerns on short traces.
