AEC-Q100 grade-0 AND gate for underhood control logic
The SN74LVC08AQPWRG4Q1 is a Texas Instruments quad 2-input AND gate from the Automotive 74LVC series, carrying AEC-Q100 qualification for deployments where the ambient temperature reaches 125°C — typical of engine bay, transmission, and exhaust-aftertreatment controllers. It operates from a 2V to 3.6V supply rail, with a maximum quiescent current of 10 µA, and drives up to 24 mA per output on both the high and low side. The 4.1 ns propagation delay at 3.3 V and 50 pF load gives the timing headroom needed for glueless bus arbitration and sensor-gating logic running at 100+ MHz clock rates.
Supply voltage and logic-level compatibility check
The input logic-low threshold is 0.8 V maximum; the logic-high threshold is 2 V minimum, matching 2.5 V and 3.3 V CMOS families without a translator on the upstream side. Because the supply range spans 2V to 3.6V, the part can also interface with 1.8V logic on the low end when the VCC is set to 1.8V — but the high-level output voltage then tracks VCC, so the downstream receiver must accept that swing.
Active production — sourcing posture for automotive programs
For a Tier-1 or OEM program, this means the part is available for both prototype builds and series production without a last-time-buy risk. The 14-TSSOP package (0.173" body width, 4.40mm) is a standard footprint shared across the 74LVC08 family. The part is offered on Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) formats, covering both automated SMT assembly and low-volume bench builds. No stock-holding claim is made here — we source per RFQ from the multi-distributor channel.
